Buyer
Office-based | Permanent, full-time | £32,000 – £35,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8.00–16.00 or 8.30–16.30
We’re working with a well-established business that’s looking to add a confident and proactive Buyer to their purchasing team. You’ll be joining a close-knit department of three, reporting into the Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities
* Managing purchasing activities across the supply chain
* Driving cost savings and supporting key projects
* Building strong supplier relationships
* Using initiative to solve problems and keep things moving
* Working in a fast-paced, male-dominated environment where confidence and clear communication are key
Requirements
* Previous buying/procurement experience
* Strong personality with a proactive, hands-on approach
* Background in supply chain, ideally manufacturing or engineering
* Track record of delivering cost savings and supporting projects
