Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey. The successful candidate will work on a temporary basis, expected to work part-time hours, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Job Duties: Provide tailored academic support to students with SEN Develop and implement individualised learning plans Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure student success Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Education: Relevant qualification in Education or Special Education Experience: Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in Special Education Experience with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia or autism Working Conditions: The role of SEN Tutor will involve working in an educational setting, collaborating with teachers, parents, and students.
