The Role
Want to sit at the table where trading product decisions actually get made?
This is a Business Analyst seat inside the Product Management team of a European exchange and trading technology group. You won't be one BA buried in a function of forty, you'll be one of a small team that sits at the crossroads of engineering, sales, operations, surveillance, QA and senior management. When a new feature gets shipped to the matching engine, the surveillance platform or the listings venue, you'll have owned it end-to-end.
You'll get genuine ownership of initiatives from day one. You'll get exposure to external clients and the chance to shape how products evolve, not just document what someone else decided.
You'll work directly with developers building ultra-low latency systems, and you'll have the room to challenge stakeholders when you think there's a smarter way to solve the problem.
The culture is collaborative, fast-moving and flat - the kind of place where a good idea gets built, not parked.
You won’t just take requirements and pass them on. You’ll challenge assumptions, ask better questions, spot risks early and help engineering build the right thing.
What makes you a great fit
* You've worked as a Business Analyst on trading technology, ideally in equities (ETFs, listed derivatives or bonds also relevant)
* You understand order types, order book mechanics and how electronic trading venues actually work
* You've delivered projects inside an Agile/Scrum SDLC, translating business needs into epics and stories that engineers can actually build from
Nice to have
FIX protocol, market data systems, ultra-low latency environments, Linux/on-prem infrastructure, regulated market experience, wireframing.
The broader environment
You’ll be joining a product and project management team that touches most of the business.
That means you’ll need to be organised, precise and comfortable managing multiple moving parts at once.
You’ll be trusted to own features, manage timelines, flag delivery risks and keep people aligned without hiding behind process.
This is a good fit if you like trading technology, enjoy working with engineers, and want a BA role where you’re close to real product decisions rather than buried in admin.
