The Brand
We are partnering with a premium, design-led lifestyle brand experiencing an exciting phase of growth across DTC, wholesale and international markets. Known for its strong brand identity and thoughtfully curated offering, the business is now seeking a commercially minded Head of Finance & Operations to work closely with the Founder and leadership team to support the next stage of strategic expansion.
The Role
This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role sitting at the heart of the business, responsible for overseeing financial strategy, planning and structuring, alongside core operational functions including supply chain, distribution and process optimisation. Reporting directly to the Founder, the Head of Finance & Operations will act as a key strategic partner, ensuring robust financial management while building scalable operational foundations to support sustainable growth.
The role requires a commercially astute and operationally driven individual who is equally comfortable with strategic planning and day-to-day execution within a fast-paced, founder-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
* Lead the overall financial strategy, budgeting and long-term financial planning for the business
* Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning
* Provide clear financial reporting, analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
* Oversee financial structuring, cost management and margin optimisation
* Partner with external accountants, auditors and financial advisors where required
* Support fundraising, investment readiness and financial modelling as the business scales
* Establish and refine financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks
Operations & Distribution
* Oversee end-to-end operational functions including logistics, distribution and fulfilment
* Optimise operational workflows to improve efficiency, scalability and cost effectiveness
* Manage relationships with 3PL partners, suppliers and operational vendors
* Support inventory planning, stock management and operational forecasting
* Ensure operational infrastructure is aligned with growth across DTC, wholesale and international channels
* Identify and implement systems, tools and processes to streamline operations
Founder & Leadership Partnership
* Act as a strategic partner to the Founder, supporting business planning and organisational structuring
* Contribute to overall business strategy, growth planning and operational roadmap
* Provide commercial insight across new initiatives, launches and market expansion
* Support team structuring, resource planning and operational best practice as the business grows
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a Head of Finance, Finance & Operations or similar leadership role within a premium, lifestyle, fashion, beauty or consumer brand
* Strong background in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
* Hands-on operational experience across supply chain, logistics and distribution
* Experience working in a high-growth, founder-led or scale-up environment
* Commercially astute with a strategic yet pragmatic approach
* Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
* Confident partnering with founders and senior stakeholders
Desirable
* Experience supporting international growth and multi-channel businesses (DTC & wholesale)
* Exposure to fundraising, investment or scaling structures
* Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
