SEND Teacher – Secondary (Primary Curriculum) | Taunton
Are you an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated teacher to work full-time with students aged 11–16 in Taunton, delivering learning at a Primary Curriculum level to children with a range of additional needs, including:
* ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
* MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties)
* SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)
* PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
* Complex needs
The Role
* Full-time teaching in a supportive SEND school environment
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
* Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom where every student can thrive
* Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to achieve the best outcomes
What We’re Looking For
* QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching students with SEND, ideally across a range of needs
* Knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and how to adapt it for older learners
* Patience, creativity, and a commitment to making a difference
