Customer Service Advisor
Location: Heywood
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Mon–Fri, 40 hours per week (some weekend work may be required)
Contract: Temporary, ongoing

The Role Customer Service Advisor
We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our client in Heywood. The role involves delivering excellent customer support, processing returns, managing orders, and maintaining clear and accurate communication across internal departments. This is a fast-paced position where strong accuracy and customer care are essential.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service Advisor
Process and submit customer return paperwork to the Supervisor.
Identify and report any product issues to the Supervisor/Manager.
Respond to customer enquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
Record accurate notes on customer accounts within the internal system.
Support the issuing of refunds or replacement orders, ensuring accuracy.
Manage data entry and reporting using Excel and internal platforms.
Monitor courier dashboards and returns portals.
Assist with outbound customer calls as required.
Work towards KPI targets while maintaining a high standard of service.
Skills and Requirements Customer Service Advisor
Proven customer service experience, ideally within a retail environment (in-store or online).
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
Competent using Microsoft Office and email platforms.
Experience with Shopify or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is beneficial, but training can be provided.
Positive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle enquiries professionally.
Strong team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physically fit, as some manual handling may be required (training provided).
Previous experience in customer service, retail operations or logistics is desirable.
