Driver Are you an experienced Class 2 driver with a passion for delivering exceptional service? We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team at our Waste Treatment Plant in Cambridge operating our RoRo vehicles. Attractive Working Hours & Salary Saturday - Wednesday - 45 hours per week 5.30 – 15.30 (with a 1 hour break) RoRo driver across our Household Waste Recycling Centres What is the purpose of this role? Drive a RoRo to collect and deliver waste or recycled products To complete daily checks on vehicles, logging faults on a database system & reporting defects to Vehicle Workshop. Emptying commercial bins on a scheduled route Operate a variety of vehicles, perform vehicle checks and routine maintenance Completing maintenance checks on various pieces of Plant Equipment., through a digital tablet Maintenance Management System & carrying out the work to which they are allocated to the required standards, including avoiding risks to the environment. Working at all times in accordance with relevant risk assessments and safe working methods, taking into account site hazards on the day, and using the appropriate supplied safety clothing Reporting of all incidents, close calls, any unsafe acts or unsafe situations seen on site to Line Manager Comply with safe working methods and wear appropriate safety clothing Represent a professional image to customers and other road users Qualifications Class 2 License (essential) Current CPC (essential) Experience driving a RoRo (desirable)
