We are looking to recruit a Painter & Decorator to join us working on our Welwyn and Hatfield sites, based at The Campus, Welwyn Garden City AL8 6AE.
About The Role
Working to deliver the best quality service, you'll carry out responsive and planned painting and decorating in occupied and void properties, including glossing, emulsion, papering, and damp/mould treatments. You'll ensure effective preparation techniques, produce perfect finishes, and deliver exceptional customer service, always putting our customers first. Multi-skilled in plastering and tiling would be advantageous. You will receive and complete tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely to achieve excellent customer experience.
About You
Candidates will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification, C&G Craft or Level 2 in a relevant trade or equivalent, or be working towards it. A CSCS Card - Blue or working towards it, with excellent health & safety knowledge, is required. You should be customer-focused with experience working in occupied and void properties, passionate about completing high-quality repairs on time and first time. Good teamwork and independent working skills are essential, along with knowledge of damp treatments. A valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for at least 12 months is required, as a company vehicle will be provided for work use.
