Were recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join a well‑established business based in Llangefni. Youll play a key role in supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple divisions.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Trainee Accountant include:
* Prepare and review management accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Monitor and report on cash flow to maintain financial stability.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data collection.
* Provide support during audits by supplying necessary documentation and explanations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
The Successful Trainee Accountant Will Have
* A degree or qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
* Strong experience with Excel, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Queries.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for financial reporting.
* Knowledge of management accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a small‑sized team environment.
