Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. Duties
Install, service, and repair a wide range of heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance and safety.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools to carry out installation and repair tasks efficiently.
Perform basic carpentry tasks related to fitting heating components within various structures.
Carry out heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot mechanical faults using technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
Assist with the assembly of heating units and related components on-site or in workshops.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used for each job.
Adhere to health and safety standards at all times during site visits or workshop activities.
Requirements
Proven experience in heating system installation, maintenance, or repair.
Proficiency with welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work.
Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
