The Role
As a Team Lead, you will provide practice leadership and operational oversight to a committed team of support staff. You will be instrumental in delivering a service that encourages, maintains, and maximises the potential of every individual within a community environment.
* Lead & Inspire: Supervise, mentor, and develop a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
* Champion Inclusion: Foster community participation and help individuals become active, independent citizens.
* Integrate Care: Work closely with the wider Integrated Health and Social Care Team to minimise health inequalities for the people we support.
* Operational Excellence: Manage staff rotas, oversee support plans, and ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate and SSSC standards.
About You
We are looking for a motivated professional who brings:
* Passion: A deep commitment to working with people with a learning disability and/or autism.
* Wellbeing Focus: A keen interest in promoting health and wellbeing, including sports and fitness, to help the people we support lead active, healthy lives.
* Community Drive: A strong desire to work within the local community and a focus on developing employment opportunities and community projects.
* Leadership: Proven experience in supervising staff and managing resources effectively.
* Qualifications: Ideally hold or be willing to work toward an SVQ Level 4 in Social Care (or equivalent) and be registered with the SSSC.
* Skills: Excellent communication, IT proficiency, and a full UK driving licence.

Additional Information For Candidates
* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted pro-rata. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
