This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent. You will be involved in the full asset lifecycle from site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition. You will lead a team through planning, obtaining consents, supporting construction, and ongoing asset management. Developing relationships with landlords, tenants, local authorities, agents, and developers is key.
The role involves ownership of development and planning processes from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, multi-tasking, and meeting tight deadlines.

What you'll do
* Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores
* Conduct site inspections, development appraisals, manage due diligence
* Manage planning application lifecycle from submission to discharge of conditions
* Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
* Drive full development and planning processes from start to finish
* Manage real estate assets
What you'll need
* Self-motivated with a drive to succeed
* Degree (2:2 minimum), ideally in a relevant field
* Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning
* MRICS qualification preferred
* Strong negotiation skills and network
* Sound legal and commercial property knowledge
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Analytical mindset
* Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK
