Sales Estimator
* Annual Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + performance-based bonuses
* Location: Hybrid (Office-based in Redhill, Surrey RH1 with flexibility for remote working on Fridays)

Join a leading specialist in the construction sector who focus on delivering technically excellent, aesthetically refined cladding systems for prestigious architectural projects across the UK. They are seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to play a vital role in securing new business and supporting our commercial success.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for façade and cladding packages, typically involving stone, technical stone, porcelain, brick slip, metal, or terracotta systems.
* Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and develop value-engineered solutions.
* Work closely with the design and technical teams to ensure proposals are commercially attractive and technically compliant.
* Present and explain cost breakdowns and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Attend site visits, pre-tender meetings, and client presentations as required.
* Maintain and update estimating databases and pricing libraries.
* Track tender outcomes and provide reporting on win/loss rates and performance metrics.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in an estimating role
* Strong understanding of building construction methods and materials,
* Commercial acumen with the ability to identify margin opportunities and risk areas.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings/specifications.
* Skilled in MS Excel and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, OSTO, or similar).
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Confident communicator with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
* Full UK driving licence required for site visits and meetings.
