The role of Gas Engineerwill include:
1. Service and maintain domestic boilers
2. Installing boilers in both residential and commercial properties
3. Utilising analytical and trade skills to diagnose and repair faults
4. Completing and submitting gas safety records, identifying and responding to risks, recording logging and completing work via electronic device tablet or phone
5. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed from our partner suppliers
Skills and experiences:
6. To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified toCCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented - G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS) or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
7. Ideally you will have experience of the installation of different types of boilers
8. The ability to work alone on a variety of different boiler types and systems
9. Renewable heating experience would be advantageous but is not essential
10. Have a proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all
11. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
