Animal Care Assistant - one weekday morning per week 8.30am - 1pm
Are you calm, patient, and understanding, and willing to get involved?
Many of the cats in our care have never experienced life in a loving home. While they wait for someone to give them a second chance, we work tirelessly to ensure all aspects of their care are carried out to a high standard.
This is a new role where you’ll work as part of our team in the cattery during the morning, mainly involving cleaning, which can be quite physical. We will provide training to help you become proficient in all aspects of cattery care within a rescue centre. Some experience and knowledge of cat behaviours are preferred, but full training will be provided. We seek someone who can commit to volunteering weekly with the RSPCA, with the intention of long-term involvement.
If you're interested in this rewarding opportunity, please use the link below to submit your application.
PLEASE NOTE, OUR MINIMUM AGE FOR THIS ROLE IS 18 YEARS
