Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: STUMPJUMP LTD You will support the Bar Owner with day-to-day operations of the bar while developing skills, knowledge and leadership experience. The trainee will learn all aspects of bar management to undertake customer service, stock control and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Assist in smooth day-to-day running of the bar.
* Deliver excellent customer service.
* Ensure bar areas are clean, stocked and well presented.
* Assist with stock control and rotation.
* Support stock take and deliveries.
* Learn ordering procedures.
* Learn best practice Health and Safety and compliance.
* Assist with marketing and social media.
* Assist with further development of the business.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
* Willingness to learn.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Desirable Skills
* Previous bar, hospitality or customer facing experience.
* Knowledge of drinks.
* Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
* Reliable and punctual.
