Housing Business Support Supervisor
Location: Lyndhurst
Salary: 18.48 per hour
Contract: Full-time, 9 Months fixed term contract – April – 31st December
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Housing Business Support Supervisor to lead our administrative team within the Housing Support Hub. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality housing services, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service for tenants, residents, and stakeholders.
You will oversee day-to-day business support functions, manage a small team, and play a vital role in maintaining service standards, handling customer enquiries, and supporting housing operations including repairs, complaints, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, manage and develop a team of Business Support Officers and administrative staff
2. Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
3. Support housing services with customer enquiries, complaints handling, and case management
4. Coordinate responses to issues such as repairs, damp, mould, and disrepair cases
5. Monitor performance, workloads, and service delivery against KPIs and targets
6. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements
7. Contribute to service improvements, procedures, and operational planning
8. Provide support across the wider housing service, including during peak demand periods
About You
We are seeking someone who is highly organised, customer-focused, and confident in managing both people and processes.
You will have:
9. Proven experience in an administrative role within a busy environment
10. Experience supervising or leading a team
11. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Experience handling customer queries and complaints
14. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
Desirable:
15. Experience within housing, maintenance, or public sector services
16. Knowledge of housing systems or scheduling/repairs processes

Working Hours
This role supports a service operating between:
21. 08:00 – 17:15 Monday to Thursday
22. 08:00 – 16:45 Friday
Flexibility is required to ensure service coverage.
