Role Overview:
* Location: Hybrid / London (2-days per week on-site)
* Package: Competitive Day-Rate (Inside IR35)

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead and evolve the product management capability across multiple client programmes
* Set the standard for product best practice, frameworks, and governance
* Guide teams in defining product vision, roadmaps, and prioritisation strategies
* Ensure delivery is rooted in user needs, data insights, and measurable outcomes
* Oversee product delivery across complex public sector transformation initiatives
* Work closely with senior government stakeholders to shape and deliver impactful services
* Support teams through GDS service phases, including assessments across Alpha, Beta, and Live
* Navigate governance, compliance, and policy requirements within regulated environments
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing strategic product direction
* Lead workshops, planning sessions, and key decision forums
* Manage and develop a team of Product Managers, supporting their growth and performance
* Oversee multiple workstreams, ensuring delivery stays aligned to timelines, budgets, and goals
* Identify risks and dependencies early, working cross-functionally to resolve them
* Contribute to business growth through bids, proposals, and client engagements
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong leadership experience within Product Management, ideally at Head level
* Proven track record delivering within UK public sector or government environments
* Deep understanding of GDS standards, service assessments, and delivery frameworks
* Experience leading large-scale digital transformation programmes
* Ability to manage, mentor, and grow high-performing product teams
* Excellent stakeholder management skills across complex, multi-layered organisations
* Strong commercial awareness within consulting or client-facing roles
* Solid grasp of Agile delivery and product lifecycle management
* Confident communicator, able to influence at senior levels
