The Role
As a key member of the store team, you will provide an exceptional level of customer engagement by offering advice, recommendations, and assistance. You will maintain the highest standards of hygiene throughout the store while working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and efficient environment. In a sales-driven role, you will strive to achieve targets, support the development of team members’ in-store knowledge, skills, and confidence, and ensure smooth operational processes. You will also assist the Store Manager and Store Supervisor in delivering overall store objectives.
£12.71 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Greeting and serving customers.
2. Preparing counter.
3. Preparing different cuts of meat.
4. Assisting customers with their purchases and providing product knowledge.
5. Preparation of counter and pre-pack areas.
6. Product sampling.
7. Stock rotation.
8. Price reduction.
9. Receiving deliveries and completing paperwork required.
10. Special offer material distribution.
11. General cleaning.
12. Internal training.
13. Supporting management function.
The Ideal Candidate
14. Proven customer service excellence.
15. Determination to drive sales.
16. IT literacy.
17. Knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
18. Capability to motivate and guide team daily.
19. Support to deliver and train new people.
20. Deadline focused.
21. Flexible within working hours.
22. Ability to support store manager when not on site and act in a professional manner.
23. Strong communicator.
24. Competent to work well under pressure.
25. A keen interest in developing a career within the trade.
