A client within the Public Sector based in Shropshire is currently recruiting for a Electrical Compliance Officer to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a compliance and building services environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is to ensure the highest standards of electrical compliance and safety across the Council’s estate, delivering high-quality, cost-effective services that meet regulatory requirements and enhance customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Reviewing service report documentation, addressing findings, and ensuring compliance is consistently maintained. • Managing contractor performance, including KPIs and corrective actions where required. • Preparing, reviewing, and updating service contract specifications in line with legislation and Council standards. • Carrying out audits, inspections, and monitoring of building services systems to ensure compliance with regulations. • Supporting the creation of a planned maintenance and asset replacement programme. • Providing guidance to staff and colleagues on compliance and safety practices.
