Electronics Engineer – Derbyshire

Overview
An established and growing client is looking to expand their Electronics team by bringing in an experienced Electronics Engineer. The role involves developing remanufacturing solutions for complex automotive electronic and mechatronic control modules and acting as a key member of the Research and Development team.
Responsibilities
* Develop remanufacturing solutions for complex automotive electronic and mechatronic control modules
* Perform rebuild solutions for electronic hardware and software failures and create the relevant technical documentation
* Test electronic circuits by simulating vehicle loads and signals; reverse engineer electronic circuits to find root causes of failures
* Work collaboratively with the R&D team on technical projects
Qualifications
* Excellent problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Experience in mathematics of circuit analysis
* Experience in electronic fault finding to component level
* Experience with PCB rework methods
* Knowledge of automotive operations, wiring diagrams, electronics, and communication protocols
* Familiarity with lean process methodologies
* Automotive or embedded environment experience is beneficial
