We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an understanding of the importance of maintaining high standards in hotel cleanliness.
Duties
* Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
* Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure all rooms are fully equipped for guests.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
* Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use.
* Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising rooms in accordance with hotel policies.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
* Physical stamina is required as the role involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.54 per hour (Live out). A live in position could be available.
Expected hours: 40 per week over 5 days to include weekends
