Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Walker / Pet Sitter to join our team at Petpals in Stockton-on-Tees. This role is essential in delivering our trademark service standards while ensuring the happiness and well-being of our furry clients. Responsibilities
* Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes while ensuring their safety and well-being
* Care for a variety of pets in their own home
* Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
* Maintain accurate records of walks and house-sits and any special needs of pets
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' behaviour and needs
* Ensure all dogs are properly enriched and cared for during walks or home-visits
* Report any health or behavioural issues to management promptly
* Follow all company policies regarding pet care and safety
* Preferences
* Experience in animal care or related field is desirable
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanour
* Ability to manage up to 4 dogs safely during walks
* Basic knowledge of pet behaviour and health issues is preferred
* Full, clean, UK driving licence as company van will be provided - essential
* Occasional holiday cover may be required
This zero-hours role has the potential to develop into a part-time or permanent position.
