The Clifton College Education Group seeks an exceptional leader to take up the post of Head of Tockington Manor School.
Tockington Manor is a co-educational day school for children aged 2–13, set on 28 acres of beautiful South Gloucestershire countryside. With a family-centred ethos and the belief in "making the most of every moment", the School combines academic ambition with excellent pastoral care and a broad co-curricular offer.
We are looking for a visible, approachable Head who can inspire pupils, staff and families, nurture Tockington's unique identity, and drive forward-looking strategies. The successful candidate will have a clear vision for preparatory education and the ability to navigate the challenges of today's independent school sector, ensuring the School remains sustainable, competitive and thriving.
This role would suit an experienced Head or a senior leader ready to step into headship, ambitious for children, passionate about education, and committed to leading a vibrant, forward-facing school community.
Tockington Manor School joined the Clifton College Education Group in 2023. The Head will benefit from the support of the wider Group, embracing the principle of being 'stronger together', while also enjoying the autonomy to develop the school's distinctive character and culture in consultation with the TMS Board.

Tockington Manor School and Nursery, a member of Clifton College Education Group, is an independent co-educational Nursery and Preparatory School for children aged 2 to 13 years.
