About the Role
As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll support the internal development of pricing systems as part of a team of software engineers, actuaries, and underwriting experts. You’ll work across multiple products and technologies as we replace our high‑value pricing tool and modernise the end-to-end underwriting process.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Support the development, testing, and deployment of new product specifications within pricing systems.
* Assist with updates to existing product configurations and tools.
* Help develop user interfaces, workflow tools, and broker portals.
* Support system and application integrations as part of our multi-technology landscape.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
* Contribute to maintaining high data quality throughout the pricing lifecycle.
* Assist with documentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies (e.g., Solvency II, Data Protection, Conduct Risk).
What We’re Looking For
Required
* A degree in Software Engineering or similar (STEM).
* 1 year of hands-on software development experience.
* Experience working across the full stack during your studies or professional role.
* Proficiency in Python.
* Understanding or exposure to AWS cloud services.
* Some integration experience (APIs, system-to-system integration, or similar).
