Job Title: Nursery Room Leader (Temporary)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years professional to lead a room, support staff, and provide high-quality care and education for children in a nurturing environment. This is a temporary contract while a permanent staff member is hired.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a designated nursery room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Support and mentor room staff, promoting teamwork and professional development
Monitor and record children’s development, maintaining accurate observations and assessments
Build strong relationships with parents/carers and communicate effectively about children’s progress
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all timesRequirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
Valid DBS registered on the Update Service (UDS)
Previous experience in a similar role or strong experience within an early years setting
Excellent communication and leadership skills
