HGV Driver Job Responsibilities As an HGV Driver, your duties will include: Completing nationwide deliveries and collections Ensuring all delivery paperwork and transport documents are completed accurately Following all UK transport legislation and driver’s hours regulations Carrying out daily vehicle defect checks and reporting issues correctly Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and road safety Working closely with transport planners, customers, and the operations team Following all company health & safety procedures at all times HGV Driver Pay Rates & Benefits £15.50 per hour Monday to Friday £25 Night Out Allowance £40,000 – £55,000 per year once permanent PAYE employment direct with Millison Chase Limited Holiday pay accrued Workplace pension Free parking On-site parking Full-time ongoing work Professional support from an experienced transport recruitment team HGV Driver Requirements Applicants must have: A valid UK HGV Licence Valid CPC qualification Valid Digi Card Good understanding of tachograph and driver’s hours regulations Strong communication and customer service skills A reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a transport team The following experience would be advantageous: Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience European driving or tramping experience Flatbed driving experience Right to Work in the UK Please note that Millison Chase Limited does not sponsor work visas.
