Visum Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a manufacturer within the Fluid Power industry, who are seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role of the Area Sales Manager will be to develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships across the South East. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by promoting the company’s product range, supporting OEMs and end users, and identifying opportunities within target sectors.
Area Sales Manager Job Overview
* Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share within the assigned territory.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
* Promote the company’s vacuum automation solutions to OEMs, end users, and machine builders.
* Conduct on-site and remote sales meetings, providing technical advice and product guidance.
* Manage projects from initial enquiry through to proposal, trials, and order completion.
* Arrange and oversee product trials where required.
* Negotiate pricing, discounts, and commercial terms in line with company policies.
* Use CRM software to plan visits, record customer information, and manage the sales pipeline.
* Work with marketing to support lead generation and promotional activity.
* Continuously develop product knowledge and sales capability
Area Sales Manager Job Requirements
* Experience in B2B technical or industrial sales.
* Experience selling Fluid Power/ Automation products
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
Area Sales Manager Salary & Benefits
* Salary up to £55,000 + company bonus (OTE 75K)
* 23 days annual leave + bank holidays
