What will this role involve?
As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the store management team, driving turnover and revenues from the store based on lean principles. You will focus on delivering excellent customer service and act as an ambassador of the Ryman brand.
What will you be responsible for?
* Act as an ambassador for Ryman and the wider Theo Paphitis Retail Group by learning about the business and communicating this knowledge to customers
* Confidently and professionally handle customer complaints and difficulties, including returns, to ensure customer retention
* Achieve and strive to exceed KPIs and objectives set by the Store Management Team
* Engage with customers, identify needs, and help them purchase by applying product knowledge and highlighting relevant promotions and upselling
* Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems when required
* Promote high visual merchandising standards and maintain store housekeeping
* Acquire and continually develop product knowledge
* Recognise opportunities to increase sale value by offering appropriate additional items
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies
