Supply Teaching Assistant – Torbay Flexible Work | Choose Your Own Days We are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work across primary, SEN, and secondary schools throughout Torbay. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work, allowing you to choose the days you work around your own diary. Role Details: Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Location: Torbay and surrounding areas Type: Day-to-day supply (including sickness cover) Key Information: You must be available to accept calls from 7:00am for same-day sickness cover Work is available in local primary, SEN, and secondary schools Roles may include classroom support, 1:1 support, or small-group interventions Responsibilities: Supporting pupils with learning activities and classroom routines Working alongside teaching staff to maintain a positive learning environment Supporting children with additional needs where required Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement Following safeguarding and school policies at all times Requirements: Experience working with children (essential) SEN experience desirable but not essential Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach Confident working in different school settings Whether you’re seeking full-time supply or occasional days, this role offers excellent flexibility and valuable experience across a range of schools.
