Following a restructure in their central finance team a new position has become available for a Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller running the site finances. This will be a broad role, covering multiple cost centres and will provide exposure to all areas of the business to support their drive towards continuous improvement. The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated individual, ideally with experience of ERP systems and the confidence to business partner with non-finance stakeholders. The main duties associated with this role will be: Producing the monthly management accounts Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with budgets and forecasts Preparing performance and KPI reports Review and analysis of business activity Business Partnering with departmental managers Provide insight on cost management and profitability Assisting with year-end stat accounts and audit Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies Continuous improvement of ERP data Providing financial support to ad hoc projects The ideal candidate for this role will be a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA or ACA with industry experience), with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. A key criteria will also be a pro-active approach to problem solving and process improvement, coupled with the communication skills to collaborate with various teams, and create engagement with stakeholders across multiple locations.
