We're looking for a Property Services Supervisor to support our continued growth across East Norfolk, West Norfolk and Essex/Cambridge and help drive delivery on new and upcoming projects.
About the Role
As a Property Services Supervisor, you will oversee trade operatives working across a range of property services workstreams. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth project delivery, excellent resident and client relationships, and high-quality workmanship at every stage.
You will be responsible for coordinating resources, monitoring productivity, supporting apprentices, and ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where strong communication and leadership are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Recruit, supervise, and manage trade operatives on site
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and client representatives
* Carry out operative inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing performance monitoring
* Ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are adhered to, including weekly inspections
* Plan daily work allocations, resource scheduling, and material requirements
* Inspect and sign off workmanship, targeting zero defects at handover
* Complete site paperwork including timesheets, returns, job packs and variations
* Open and close properties to ensure accurate records for commercial sign-off
* Support apprentices and trainees with their development
* Deputise for other Supervisors or Managers where required
About You
Essential skills and experience:
* Strong knowledge of construction, refurbishment, or social housing
* Previous supervisory or trade team leadership experience
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
* Strong organisational and planning abilities
* Ability to work to deadlines and maintain high-quality standards
* Full UK driving licence
* CSCS card, First Aid, Manual Handling and Asbestos Awareness training
Desirable:
* BTEC HNC/D in Building or Construction
* SSSTS qualification
* Experience with RAMS preparation
* Working at Height, Scaffolding Awareness or other specialist training
* Competent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
