They are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help lead their next phase of regional growth.

Are you the right person for the job?
Our client is looking for an experienced, self-sufficient Business Development professional with strong knowledge of the construction, heavy civil engineering, infrastructure, or earthworks sectors.
You'll thrive in this role if you are:
Confident, approachable, and able to build relationships quickly
Experienced in generating new business without needing hands-on training
Results-focused and commercially astute
Skilled in managing a BD pipeline and securing early project involvement
Comfortable engaging with tier-one contractors, developers, framework partners, and public-sector stakeholders
Competent with IT systems and industry software (ISO 9001 knowledge is beneficial)
A full driving licence is essential
What will your role look like?
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the company's presence across infrastructure, renewables, and other bulk-earthworks sectors. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the development and execution of the regional business development strategy
Securing early involvement in major projects where the company's expertise adds value
Building and managing high-value client relationships
Representing the business at industry forums, tenders, and pre-bid meetings
Collaborating closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure delivery excellence
Feeding market intelligence back to the board to shape long-term growth and bidding direction
Managing a BD pipeline covering project values typically between £500K–£6M
