Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Nemo's Nursery
The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a passionate, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Nemo’s Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.
Nemo’s cares for children between three months and five years. Our beautiful nursery is set in a large Victorian house. You will feel at ease from the moment you step through our door. Our friendly staff will be there to greet you and your child with a warm smile and lots of learning and adventures every day.
Our nursery is split into different age groups. Our baby rooms and 2-5 years rooms will give children everything they need to grow, learn and develop in a safe and fun environment in their own individual way. Rest assured your child will always receive the care and attention they deserve.
This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Childcare apprenticeship within a fantastic setting, learning from experienced childcare professionals.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
1. Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
2. Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
3. Observing and assessing children’s development and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
4. Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, facilitating open communication about their child's development.
5. Working collaboratively with your colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
6. Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices.
Qualities required;
7. The ideal candidate will need to be a great team player, confident and outgoing and must be willing to carry out a variety of tasks, as well as be enthusiastic and willing to learn.
8. You must also be imaginative, creative and be committed to a career within Childcare
Hours;
9. The nursery is open between the hours of 08:30-17:30 Monday-Friday.
10. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and be flexible with working shift patterns.
Requirements;
11. A level 2 Childcare Qualification is required when applying for this role.
12. You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
13. GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
14. If unqualified, candidate must have 12 months experience in a childcare setting.
