SHEQ Manager

Salary: 55,000-60,000
Are you a strategic and hands-on SHEQ professional ready to drive safety, health, environmental and quality excellence? We're proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected and rapidly growing company in the manufacturing sector, currently seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead and evolve their SHEQ function.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage SHEQ policies, procedures, and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001)
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections to monitor performance and identify improvements
* Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Deliver training, toolbox talks, and guidance to promote a culture of health, safety, and quality awareness
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and standards
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives across SHEQ functions
Requirements
* Proven experience in a SHEQ leadership role (preferably within manufacturing)
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification (essential)
* Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and auditing processes
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to influence and drive a culture of accountability and safety
