We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to become the Clinical Lead for Hillingdon 0-19 service.
The post holder will be familiar with the full offer within the Healthy Child Programme and core mandated contacts.
With responsibility for supporting, supervising and developing the team to promote the universal health service to improve physical and emotional health outcomes for all children.
The post holder will work closely with the Children's Clinical Service Manager in the delivery of 0-19 services, ensuring an integrated approach with specialist services, focused on meeting the needs of children and their family/carers in Hillingdon.

Main duties of the job
1. To provide leadership, overall management and service delivery of the Children’s 0-19 Service.
2. The post holder will work closely with the Team Leads, other Service Leads and with the Senior Manager’s to ensure delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and associated Key Performance Indicators are met.
3. To ensure delivery of the highest quality to all children and families within contracted performance levels
4. Provision of leadership, supervision, training and support to staff in the service with oversight of relevant training and support to professionals working with children and young people across Hillingdon
5. Works with the Senior Manager’s in the development of the 0-19 Service, identifying where improvements in the service can be made or redesigned.
6. Lead and develop service Policy and Guidelines and contribute to Organisational policies and guidelines
7. Work with the Professional Development and Leadership Groups and ensuring quality assurance issues are identified/addressed through robust auditing and monitoring of standards.
8. Maintain registration with the NMC and work within all its guidelines at all times.
9. Adhere to all CNWL and Local policies and procedures

The Hillingdon 0-19 service consists of Health Visiting and School Nursing teams which are split into three localities based across the borough and are dedicated to improving the outcomes of children, young people and their families health and wellbeing across the borough.
