Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – Specialist SEN Primary School

We are delighted to be recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a warm, nurturing specialist SEN primary school in Aldershot. This setting supports children in the early and primary stages of their education, providing tailored learning for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting younger children and helping them build strong foundations for learning, communication and emotional development. The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting primary-aged pupils to feel safe, confident and engaged in their learning. Working closely with class teachers and specialist staff, you will provide one-to-one and small group support, adapting activities to meet each child’s individual needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils within a specialist SEN primary setting
* Assisting with personalised and play-based learning activities
* Supporting communication, sensory processing and emotional regulation
* Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff
* Helping to maintain a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment
About You

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
