Light Vehicle Technical Trainer In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering apprenticeship programs, ensuring our customers and business objectives are met. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain training programs to meet customer needs and business goals. Carry out the delivery of world-class training materials across the Light Vehicle Repair & Maintenance Apprenticeship to our BMW & MINI customers. Opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art training facility. Collaborate with customers, assess training needs within the automotive network, and provide effective solutions. Work closely with trainers and assessors to deliver impactful training. Plan and schedule courses in alignment with industry requirements. Maintain relevant Accreditation Centre status, working towards outstanding achievements. Develop and review course materials, ensuring high-quality content. Support communication with industry partners and provide holiday cover for fellow trainers. Requirements: Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge and practical experience in the Automotive Industry. Ideally from a Technician or Repair/Maintenance background. Relevant SME qualifications and strong literacy and PC skills. Proficiency in standard software packages (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Please note: You do not need to have prior experience working on BMW/MINI products to be considered for this role Experience: Background in training and development, preferably in an automotive environment. Project delivery experience from conception to implementation. Previous involvement in training design and knowledge of automotive systems and processes. Whilst not essential, previous experience in a Trainer/Tutor/Lecturer/Assessor/Instructor role would be beneficial. Qualifications: Relevant SME qualification/Apprenticeship OR Min Level 3 qualification within Automotive. GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in English language and Mathematics. Training/ Teaching qualification (desirable). This will be provided if you do not already hold one. This is a full time vacancy based predominantly from their training facility just outside Reading. Salary is paying up to £37,000 with the option to add either a Company Car or receive a £4,200 car allowance.
