Dynatrace is looking for a Labour & Employment Counsel, EMEA to join its global Legal Team in a newly created role. Reporting into the VP, Legal – Labour & Employment, you will partner closely with Dynatrace’s People & Culture team and People Leaders to assess existing policies, programs, processes and practices, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and drive innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations across the EMEA region.
You will also partner with Legal and People Leaders to conduct internal employee-related investigations and lead employment claims and litigation. Working closely with the VP, Legal, Labour & Employment, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing advice and strategic counsel to People & Culture (P&C) and business leaders across the company on a range of employment law issues spanning the employee lifecycle (including, recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, employee relations issues, terminations) across both existing and new EMEA markets, as well as other international markets on an as-needed basis.
* Advising P&C and business leaders on employment matters across the EMEA region, including, collective bargaining agreements (CBA), labor relations and Works Councils, compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, accommodations, diversity and inclusion programs and other employment-related corporate initiatives.
* Evaluating and developing employment policies, programs, processes, and practices to execute priorities, and helping ensure compliance in the EMEA region.
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of EMEA employment-related agreements, templates and other documents, including employment contracts, separation agreements, and performance management documentation.
* Assisting in developing and conducting training and education programs for employees, managers, and the P&C team.
* Responding to claims, demand letters, administrative complaints, whistleblowing, audits, and other employment-related inquiries, and lead any related litigation, mediations and/or settlements of employment-related disputes.
* Coordinating with and managing outside counsel in EMEA on employment matters to convert outside counsel feedback into actionable internal advice and guidance.
