We are looking for someone with the experience of working in a school environment and the flexibility and empathy to meet the needs of children and their families. Training will be provided as required. We are looking for someone who: - Is highly organised and able to prioritise effectively - Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Is confident using IT systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom experience beneficial) and has previous experience using Microsoft Office and Google Apps - Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Is able to be flexible in the face of unexpected changes - Is approachable, professional, and committed to supporting the school community - Understands and upholds safeguarding responsibilities Key roles and responsibilities include: Provide a warm, professional reception for parents, pupils, and visitors Assist the School Administrator with day-to-day administrative tasks, including correspondence, phone calls, and emails Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times Administration of school lunch numbers and liaison with Kitchen Team Supplies ordering Organisation and co-ordination of school photographs Website and social media administration Any other office duties and cover as required Grove Road Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and to share this commitment.
