My client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join their growing building services engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up drawings and project files to support engineers and design teams
* Producing and updating Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) drawings from engineer mark-ups, including plans, layouts, elevations and schematics
* Assisting with the development of drawing blocks and templates
* Supporting Revit modelling and gaining hands-on experience with BIM on live projects
* Managing document control and maintaining organised project records
* Working closely with the BIM Manager and wider design team to meet daily tasks and deadlines
Experience & Qualifications:
1. GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths and Science (Grade B preferred)
2. Design & Technology qualification advantageous
3. Some experience or strong interest in AutoCAD or similar design software (full training provided)
4. Genuine interest in construction, design and digital design technology
5. Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
6. Well organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines
