Role and Responsibilities
1. Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality lessons using diverse approaches to enhance teaching and learning.
2. Monitor student progress, maintain records of assessment outcomes and targets to enable all students to achieve their full potential.
3. Contribute to safeguarding and promote the welfare and personal care of children and young people, adhering to Every Child Matters and Area Child Protection Procedures.
4. Ensure continuity, progression, and cohesiveness in all teaching activities.
5. Set regular homework to consolidate and extend learning, encouraging student responsibility.
6. Track student achievement against targets and take appropriate actions.
7. Model professional conduct and personal presentation.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Science or related field.
* Teaching certification or relevant qualifications.
* Proven experience teaching Science at secondary or higher education level.
* Strong knowledge of geographical theories, tools, and technologies (Note: This point seems misplaced; consider revising or removing if irrelevant).
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
