Join our new Later Living Team – Now Hiring Carers! Earlier this year we launched brand‑new Later Living services in Bellshill and Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, and we’re looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join us as Later Living Carers.
Later Living Carer positions available: 1 role for 15 hours per week, 3 roles for 25 hours per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Support older and vulnerable adults to live independently in their own homes within our developments, providing personal care, meal support, and ensuring customers feel safe, respected, and valued.
Purpose of the Role
Work within a team to ensure customers are supported to live as independently as possible in their own homes, providing personal, emotional, and social care in line with assessed needs and promoting positive outcomes for customers.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in care or working with older/vulnerable people.
* SVQ in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
* Strong communication and basic IT skills.
* A respectful, inclusive approach to working with older people.
* A team spirit and willingness to support others.
What We Offer
* Hourly Rate: £13.00
* Hours: 15–25 per week on a rolling rota (1 role at 15 hours per week; 3 roles at 25 hours per week)
* Shifts: Flexible morning and back shifts (7:30 am–10:00 pm), including weekends
* Contract: Permanent
* Location: On‑site within and between our Later Living developments in Bellshill and Motherwell
* Start Date: December to January

Please note: the role is subject to satisfactory interview, references and a PVG check. You will be required to register with the SSSC, complete mandatory training within a timeframe, and commit to studying for an SVQ in Care & Support if you do not already hold this qualification.
