As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work in the Reception Class as a general TA, providing vital support to children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). In its latest Ofsted inspection in November 2023, the school was rated Good across all categories, reflecting strong leadership, quality teaching, and positive student outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning activities.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with SEND.
* Assist in planning and preparing resources to enhance learning in the Reception Class.
* Monitor and record children's progress, feeding back to teachers and parents as required.
* Help to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among pupils.
* Contribute to the wider school community and ethos.
Qualifications/Experience
* A minimum of a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare.
* Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience working with young children, ideally including SEND support.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive, proactive and nurturing approach to supporting early years learning.
