We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our client in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment and have a thorough understanding of fire safety regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments for various types of properties.
2. Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for improving fire safety.
3. Advise clients on compliance with fire safety legislation and standards.
4. Develop and implement fire safety management plans.
5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and fire authorities as required.
6. Stay updated with current fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent.
* Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments.
* Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
* Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., IFE, IFSM).
* Additional fire safety or health and safety qualifications.
