In This Role
* Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. By retaining Base Business customers and displacing competitors in his/her territory.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, laboratory managers, and purchasing departments.
* Present and promote diagnostic products and solutions to potential and existing customers through in‑person meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, especially by expanding menu and introducing new products.
* Collaborate with the solution design teams to develop effective sales strategies and value proposition to customers.
* Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to represent the company and network with potential clients.
Essential Requirements Of The Job
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
* Experienced and proven track record of successful sales in the diagnostics or medical devices industry.
* Strong understanding of diagnostic products, laboratory workflows and the UK healthcare market.
* Experience or knowledge in tender management with the openness to learn and work on complex tenders.
Travel And Driving Requirements
* Ability to travel up to 80% of the time predominantly within territory but also within the UK and abroad as required, including overnight stays.
* Must have a valid UK driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.
Additional Experience (Optional)
* Experience and success of complex selling to NHS Pathology networks.
* Confident in selling to C‑suite.
