Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Bids Executive to join their Bristol office on a 9 month FTC basis. The role involves supporting the Bids and Contracts Manager and the strategic growth of the partnership, in winning and retaining profitable business through the creation of high quality, often complex bids and proposals.
The Responsibilities:
* Source and assess legal services bid opportunities with sector leads and the Bids/Contracts Manager.
* Project manage the entire bid process, from identification to submission/presentation, delegating tasks as needed.
* Ensure technical compliance and develop competitive, differentiated bid themes.
* Conduct scoping calls to gather information and prepare compelling responses.
* Collaborate with finance and pricing teams to ensure bids meet governance requirements.
* Produce monthly bid statistics and quarterly analysis to identify trends and improvements.
* Draft bid documents in line with specifications, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
* Write clear, persuasive, and compliant responses to meet specification requirements.
The Candidate:
* Strong bid management, project management, and prioritisation skills under pressure.
* Excellent drafting, document preparation, and presentation skills with high attention to detail.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
* Proficiency in professional writing (spelling, grammar, clarity) and experience in professional services environments (advantageous).
