Our client is recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team, ideally you will be a car driver due to the location
* Location: Canvey Island
* Job Type: Full-time
* Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
We are currently seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for efficient operations in our warehouse, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Operate counterbalance forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
* Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
* Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring that goods are secured properly.
* Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
* Store the products in proper places in the warehouse.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment in the warehouse.
* Follow proper handling procedures for all materials, including hazardous substances.
* Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Valid counterbalance forklift driving license.
* Proven experience as a forklift operator.
* Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
* Excellent physical condition and coordination.
