They work on a mixture of new build and refurbishment schemes for private & public sectors, local authorities, and housing associations. Types of schemes include residential, education, regeneration, student accommodation, leisure, Retirement Living and extra care, with construction values ranging from £5 million to £100+ million.

The Role
Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team in Hertfordshire, taking the lead on ensuring all scheme delivery meets funding, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will manage the PAS2030 Compliance Team, oversee both internal and external audit processes, and ensure that all compliance documentation is prepared, verified, and submitted accurately and on time to clients, energy suppliers, and accreditation bodies.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Lead and manage the PAS2030 Compliance Team, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
* Oversee internal and external audit processes to maintain national accreditation status
* Ensure all compliance documentation for the installation of energy efficiency measures meets PAS2030 requirements
* Provide regular compliance reports and updates to the Head of Sustainability
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance activities align with overall project delivery programmes
* Advise regional delivery teams on compliance requirements and best practices for energy efficiency measures
* Work closely with supply chain partners to support effective development and delivery across compliance areas
* Safeguard against compliance failures by maintaining accuracy and quality across all submissions
* Support data collation and the preparation of compliance and performance reports
* Stay up to date with industry changes, regulations, and accreditation standards, sharing insights with the wider team
* Develop and maintain the PAS2030/MCS supply chain database in partnership with the Supply Chain Manager
* Review resource levels and team capacity with the Head of Sustainability on a regular basis
* Undertake other reasonable management duties as required
