Offer description

This organisation is a rapidly expanding specialist in Complex Care, regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the Treatment of Disease, Disorder, or Injury (TDDI). The business operates on the core principle that “The Best People Care,” focusing on high-acuity clinical support rather than standard domiciliary services.

The mission is to deliver exceptional, bespoke care driven by a collaborative approach with service users and care partners. The group aspires to ensure that every individual receiving care feels truly at the centre of the service, supported by unique outcomes and aspirations, regardless of the complexity of their needs.

The Care Coordinator serves as the operational heartbeat of the organisation. While the recruitment function identifies talent, the Coordinator is responsible for the seamless integration and logistical management of staff within high-acuity clinical packages.

With 10 active complex packages—each requiring a dedicated team of 10–15 staff members—and a further 5 in the immediate pipeline, the Coordinator manages the daily continuity of care for a field workforce of approximately 150. This role requires a "trenches" mentality, working physically within the team to solve logistical challenges in real-time and ensure service users never experience a breach in clinical safety.

Core Responsibilities:

*

Rota Management: Designing and managing intricate 24/7 rotas for teams of 10–15 staff per service user, ensuring all clinical hours are fulfilled.

*

Crisis Coordination: Taking immediate action to cover unplanned absences or sickness to maintain 100% service continuity.

*

Service User Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact for families regarding staffing schedules and ensuring placements respect bespoke care plans.

*

Clinical Synergy: Working with the Clinical Lead to schedule mandatory 3-day nurse shadowing and sign-offs for all new staff.

*

Geographical Oversight: Coordinating staff across a regional footprint including Essex, Ipswich, and Norfolk.

*

Compliance: Ensuring all rota patterns comply with Working Time Regulations and CQC fundamental standards.

Requirements:

The organisation seeks a resilient, detail-oriented professional who understands the critical nature of clinical scheduling.

Experience & Attributes:

*

Proven Background: Previous experience in care coordination or logistical scheduling is essential. Specific experience in high-acuity or complex care environments is a distinct advantage.

*

Communication: A highly professional telephone manner and the ability to manage the expectations of both service user families and field staff.

*

Resilience: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure office environment where priorities can shift instantly.

*

Integrity: A "meaningful" operator who recognises that behind every rota gap is a person with critical clinical needs.

*

Technical Accuracy: Committed to maintaining 100% database integrity and regulatory adherence
